Conversation with Pat Hart

I spoke with Pat Hart today. American would like to have the shims removed from the house so that they can determine what the resulting damage is from that action by Jeremy. I contacted Scott and he will remove the shims Wednesday-Thursday-Friday this week. I left a message with Pat to advise. She will have Ian return to inspect.

Follow-up call with Pat Monday, February 9th, 2009

I contacted Pat Hart to follow-up about the visit with Ian. She indicated that she had not received Ian's written report but she had talked with him. She reminded me that American is only responsible for "resulting" damages. She said she thought she would have the report either today or tomorrow and that I could follow-up with her on Wednesday if I hadn't heard from her. She did think that she may need to have an Engineer come to the house to review the damages.

Meeting with Ian at house Thursday, February 5th

Met with Ian at our house and toured all of the areas where work had been accomplished and discussed damaged areas. At the meeting were Ian, Scott Gasso, myself and another invitee of Ian's - his name escapes at the moment. I will add it later. At the end of the visit we discussed summary information. Ian indicated that American is only responsible for "resulting" damages - not areas that were going to be fixed / repaired later during the build process. Specifically, Ian surmized that the adjustor more than likely will want an Engineer to review the house for structural damage. Ian thought his report would be turned in to Pat by the 9th of February.
